Vanilla Cookies

This post is going to be short and simple because this recipe is short and simple. These cookies are called “vanilla cookies” in the cookbook my mother made me for Christmas 5 years ago, BUT if I were to name them I would call them “If snickerdoodles and sugar cookies had a baby” cookies. They are easy, yummy, and most of the time I have all the ingredients in the pantry. These are also the cookies I make if we are at home all day and Taz needs something to keep him busy. He loves to get in the kitchen and cook with me (read: make a giant mess).

Here are the ingredients flour, sugar, egg, butter, baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt

Mix them together, put on a tray and bake for 10-12 minutes and BOOM. Home-made delicious cookies

If your feeling really super-momish, you can let the kids decorate them with icing and sprinkles (read: making an even BIGGER mess).
